About the role
The Senior HR Officer is responsible for Responsible for overseeing and coordinating HR operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes. The role- will also focus on streamlining HR processes and supporting the implementation of strategic HR initiatives while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional qualification in Human Resource Management, such as CIPD, CHRP, or equivalent, is an added advantage.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with experience in a senior HR/generalist role.
- Good knowledge of Uganda employment and labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
- Experience using HRIS and digital HR systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
